Project Eems
Nature literally forms the breeding ground for my work. Often, the precipitations of this in photos, video, texts, sketches, sound recordings, animations, maps, and objects are registered, ordered, archived, processed and transformed into art. After years of roaming along the Eems, from Nieuwe Statenzijl tot Noordkaap, the silt from this river has become an important part of my work. All the silt work falls under the title Earthly Affairs.
Archive of Lost Flows is an overall title for works that have to do with rivers, including an archive of algae, an archive of litter and books
